Open House Festival, and tours of Poplar

As in previous years, we are opening our doors to welcome visitors who want to see inside our beautiful building as part of the Open House Festival 2026, held this year on 12-20 September. Our tours will take place on 19 September.

Bookings for the festival will open on 19 August and full details are available on the Open House website.

As part of the festival, there are also walking tours of Poplar’s Lansbury Estate, focusing on the architectural legacy of the 1951 Festival of Britain, and if that isn’t enough local history, Open City have a regular programme of walking tours including several focusing on Poplar and starting at our nearby landmark, the Chrisp Street clock tower.
